Hex Sense is a relaxing logic puzzle where Mochi crosses dangerous hex grids, using number clues, flags and careful deduction to reach each exit safely.

Hex Sense takes the familiar idea of Minesweeper and gives it a small adventure of its own. Instead of simply clearing a board, you are helping Mochi travel across an unfamiliar hexagonal landscape where every unrevealed tile could change the route.

The best strategy is therefore not simply “find the Exit.” Opening the right tiles and building a mental map of the surrounding hazards can make the eventual route much clearer.

Puzzle That Gets More Interesting

Hex Sense starts with the basic relationship between numbers and hidden hazards, then uses new chapters to introduce additional situations. Later puzzles can therefore feel less like repetitions of the opening levels and more like variations on the same logical language.

One particularly interesting mechanic is the Link clue, which provides additional information about the relationship between hazardous neighboring tiles. It adds another layer to deduction and gives experienced players more information to work with when several possibilities seem equally plausible.

How to Approach a Difficult Level

A calm approach works better than random exploration. Start with the clues that have the fewest unknown neighboring tiles, compare nearby numbers, and mark hazards once their positions become certain. Every confirmed tile can provide information for another clue, allowing one deduction to lead naturally into the next.

There is also no need to hurry. The absence of a timer makes Hex Sense more about logical confidence than reaction speed, which gives the game a distinctly different feel from many quick puzzle challenges.
