WordMix is a casual word puzzle game that challenges you to discover what seemingly unrelated words have in common. Instead of completing a crossword or searching for one correct answer, you get a board filled with word cards and need to sort them into groups.
Each group has its own connection. The words might belong to the same topic, describe related ideas, share a meaning, or have another association that links them together. Once you spot the relationship, arrange the matching cards into one row and lock the group in place.
WHAT MAKES WORDMIX DIFFERENT?
The interesting part of WordMix is that there isn't always one obvious clue telling you what to look for. The board simply gives you a collection of words and leaves you to find the connection. Some groups may be easy to recognize. Others can make you question whether two cards really belong together. A word that seems like an obvious match might actually fit better with another group, so solving the puzzle requires more than quickly spotting familiar categories.
Your Goal on the Board
The objective is to find every hidden group and arrange its words into rows. Start by looking through all the cards and searching for words that seem connected. When you think you've found a complete group, move those cards into the same row. A correct combination locks into place, confirming that you've uncovered one of the puzzle's connections.
Hundreds of Levels to Explore
WordMix offers hundreds of levels, giving you plenty of different word combinations to work through. The puzzles gradually provide new situations to consider, keeping the basic idea familiar while changing the relationships you need to discover. One level might have a connection that becomes obvious almost immediately. Another may require you to reconsider several cards before the correct group finally appears.
Endless Mode for More Wordplay
Endless Mode provides another way to keep playing. Rather than simply working through the main progression, this mode gives you an ongoing challenge built around the same group-finding idea. It is a good choice when you want to keep testing your vocabulary and pattern-recognition skills after completing the standard puzzles.
