WordLink is a word-chain puzzle where familiar words form connected two-word phrases, with drag-and-drop controls and visual clues for every pair.

WordLink turns everyday phrases into a satisfying word puzzle. The board contains individual words that need to be arranged into connected pairs, with each pair forming a real two-word phrase such as “house plant” or “train station.”

THE LINKS TELL YOU WHAT WORKS

Visual connections provide useful feedback as the puzzle develops. Different link colors show whether your word choices are useful or need more adjustment:

• Dark Gray Link: Words are not currently paired.
• Silver Link: Words form a valid phrase but are in the wrong position.
• Gold Link: Words form the correct phrase and sit in the correct position.

How to play

Drag and drop the words to rearrange them on the board. Each neighboring pair should create a familiar two-word phrase, with the complete sequence eventually forming the correct chain. The position of each pair matters just as much as the phrase itself. Words with a silver link may belong together but still need to move, while gold links indicate that both the pairing and placement are correct.

• Look for Familiar Phrases: Common expressions and everyday combinations can reveal strong pairings.
• Check Both Words: Individual words may fit several possibilities, so the surrounding word can provide an important clue.
