For example, POOL can become POOP because only the final letter changes. However, changing WARM directly into WORD would not work because multiple letters are different.

The main challenge is finding an efficient route rather than simply reaching the answer. Some words offer obvious connections, while others require you to explore less predictable possibilities. You can use hints when stuck, undo moves, and experiment with different paths before settling on your solution.
