Nodle turns drawing digits into a daily math challenge. Build numbers on a dot grid, reach the target sum and chase a higher score.
Nodle places you in front of a simple dot grid with one important number: the TARGET. Your job is to connect the dots and create digits, then combine those digits until their total matches the number on the screen. That small change makes Nodle feel different from typing numbers into a normal math puzzle. You are solving two problems at once: What numbers should I use, and how do I draw them?
THE ANSWER STARTS WITH THE GRID
The dot grid is where every solution begins. Click and drag between the dots to create your digits, then look at the values you have made and work out whether they can reach the target.
For example, if the target calls for a certain total, you need to think about which digits will get you there before committing to your final combination. The drawing itself becomes part of the puzzle rather than just an input method.
There is also room to experiment. You can clear your current drawing, try another combination, and restart the puzzle whenever you want to approach it from scratch.
When the Numbers Don't Add Up
Getting stuck is part of the puzzle, especially when several possible digit combinations start competing for your attention. Nodle gives you hints, but they aren't all equally revealing.
A Reveal a Number hint costs 1 Hint and places one answer digit on the board in grey. It gives you useful information without completely taking over the puzzle. A Reveal a Pattern costs 3 Hints and scores the largest possible number for you, providing much stronger assistance.
Easy Mode Changes the View
Players looking for a simpler version can enable Easy mode through Settings. Instead of hiding the available numbers, this setting reveals them all, making the possible choices easier to understand. There is one catch: switching on Easy mode resets the puzzle currently in progress. It is better to enable the setting before beginning a fresh challenge rather than halfway through a solution.
From Daily Puzzle to High Score
Nodle can also turn quiet puzzle-solving into a competition. A custom Username entered through Settings unlocks access to the global Leaderboard, allowing your scores to be submitted and compared with other players. Suddenly, solving the target is only part of the goal. You can also see how your performance stacks up.
