AnaSquare

AnaSquare is a clever 4×4 word puzzle where rows and columns must match, with fixed letters, color clues and three attempts per puzzle.

AnaSquare puts a fresh spin on word puzzles by making every letter matter in two directions. The goal centers on completing a 4×4 grid where each row forms a valid word and the same words can also be read down the columns.

WHERE WORDS MEET SYMMETRY

Your task in AnaSquare is to work out the missing letters until every row and column forms a valid word and the complete grid reads the same across and down. Click or tap any open tile to select it, with arrow keys also available for moving around the grid. Enter the letters you think belong in each position, then press Enter or choose Submit to check the entire board. Your current position appears in yellow, while the answer receives instant feedback after submission:

• Grey: Given letter that stays locked in place.
• Yellow: Current tile selected for editing.
• Green: Correct letter in the correct position.
• Red: Incorrect letter, which clears after a short moment so you can make another attempt.

Simple Rules

The 4×4 format keeps AnaSquare easy to understand, but the two-way word structure adds plenty of room for second-guessing. Familiar vocabulary can help, yet careful pattern recognition often matters just as much.

The three-attempt limit also adds some pressure without turning the puzzle into a race. Each guess becomes an opportunity to learn more about the remaining spaces and move closer to the finished word square.
