Queens is a free logic puzzle inspired by Star Battle and the classic chess queen. Each colorful grid requires careful placement, with one queen needed in every row, column, and colored region. Queens cannot touch one another, including diagonally.

Daily Mini offers three puzzles with gradually increasing difficulty. Most sessions take only a few minutes, making the mode suitable for short breaks or quick daily practice. Difficulty also changes throughout the week. Monday starts with easier puzzles, while later days bring tougher grids. Past Daily Mini puzzles remain available through the archive.

How to Play

Tap an empty cell once to place an X marker and rule out that position. Tap twice to place a queen. Automatic markers show cells affected by a queen in the same row or column. The puzzle is complete when every row, column, and colored region contains exactly one queen, with no queens touching.

Helpful Tips for Beginners

Single-cell regions offer the easiest starting points because their only cell must contain a queen. Rows or columns with very few possible positions can also reveal useful moves. Markers help track eliminated cells, while automatic markings make queen attacks easier to see. Careful elimination usually works better than random guesses.
